By now you might have heard our very exciting news, but we’ll tell you all about it here just in case you haven’t!!
We’re delighted and proud to announce that this June we’ll be competing at the British Street Food Awards 2018 in Leeds. We’ve been chosen as one of the top 20 traders in the north of England, out of more than 3,000 applicants!!
We love Leeds and have been heading up there for various street food adventures since 2015, when we spent four days at the Town Hall for the Birra Moretti Gran Tour along with some of the country’s best Italian traders. You can read all about that here!
If you’ve followed us for a while you’ll know we’re not a run-of-the-mill pizza truck; we want people to try something entirely different. We’re going to show the judges how we make restaurant-quality Italian food with a street food twist, creating a range of original artisan pasta dishes like our chilli gemelli with pulled pork cooked in ale, and delicious dessert pots like our raspberry and gin tiramisù, that have surprised and delighted everyone who tasted them.
This will all take place at Leeds Dock on the 23rd and 24th of June.
